| We have made an arrangement with the Serpentine Swimming Club to use the club facilities at the Serpentine Lido. This means that our members can benefit from using these if they are Youths, Juniors or Adults, or if they are practicing for the Open Water swimming. All members swimming with Jetstream Tri Club will have to join the Serpentine Swimming Club for a reduced fee of £10. | |||||||||
| The Swimming is in safe conditions, the above picture shows that the water is just shoulder deep all the way to the end of the jetty, it's very clean and is even chlorinated. If you want to just practice then you can wear a wet suit, but if you want to enter the race (one is arranged every week) then it's strictly "skins" only. | |||||||||
| There are natural 100 - 200 and 400 meter courses laid out with buoys and we can practice turns, spotting and get used to both the distance in open water and the water temperature. | |||||||||
| Here are some pictures and a map showing how to get there: | |||||||||
